PHACOEMULSIFICATION Procedure:
Phacoemulsification, or phaco, is method of cataract correction surgery in which the eye's internal lens is emulsified using ultrasonic energy and replaced with an intraocular lens implant, or IOL. A cataract clouds the lens of the eye causing vision loss that interferes with daily activities. The only effective means of restoring full and clear vision that has been compromised by cataracts is to perform eye surgery to remove and replace them with permanent artificial lenses.

SQUINT CORRECTION Procedure:
A squint is a condition in which the eyes do not look straight ahead together. One eye may turn inwards (convergent) or outwards (divergent), or up or down. Squints occur because the muscles around the eye are not balanced.
A squint, or strabismus, is a condition affecting many people. It is normally first seen in childhood and causes the eye to appear to turn inwards. It usually affects only one eye but can be seen in both occasionally. The focusing ability of the eyes is controlled by many tiny muscles that support the eye. If a person has a squint, these muscles can allow the eye to turn inwards causing the person to be less able to focus properly. It can be corrected using a variety of methods such as the use of glasses, eye drops, eye patches or even surgery i.e. Squint Repair operation.
The squint correction operation to correct the squint, involves either strengthening or weakening one or more of the muscles around the eye.
